Camp Hilary rents 15' or 17' aluminum canoes for $30.00 per day (plus tax)which includes paddles. Canoes are not rented on a 24-hour basis, i.e., any part of a day is a day. The law requires that life vests be worn by each person in a canoe. Contact us if you are unable to provide your own vests. We can help at no additional charge.

To reserve, send a deposit of $30.00 per canoe. You will be charged for the amount you reserve; there are no refunds.

Please treat equipment safely and with respect because damage to canoes, paddles, and/or life vests is your responsibility.

Below is a price list for canoe portages to and/or from several sites in the area. If your destination is not included on the list, please inquire. Almost anything is possible.

The charge for canoes in excess of the minimum (3) is $20.00 per canoe; e.g., to portage 5 canoes from Tupper Lake Boat Launch would cost:

$90.00	-	minimum charge for three canoes
$40.00	-	$20.00 for each additional canoe over minimum
$130.00	-	total portage fee
$9.10	-	7.00% tax
$139.10	-	total amount

Portage fee pertains only to canoes.
We are able to portage a maximum of 8 canoes per trip. Portage of more than 8 canoes will incur additional portage fees.
Transport of a passenger and/or gear must be prearranged.
